utilizes in-class lectures and partnerships with a community small business or non-profit to assess the data and information needs of, design data-driven methods for, and proposal and\/or develop sustainable data infrastructure to those community organizations.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:list -->\n<ul><!-- wp:list-item -->\n<li>Students will identify a community small business or non-profit organization as their client and meet the client for two hours each week, working with community organizations in need of data analytics support.<\/li>\n<!-- \/wp:list-item -->\n\n<!-- wp:list-item -->\n<li>Undertake critical data analysis and assessment skills to learn the key steps and associated challenges of data analytics for solving domain problems.<\/li>\n<!-- \/wp:list-item -->\n\n<!-- wp:list-item -->\n<li>Hone oral and written communication skills, learning how to interact with and impact a range of audiences through democratic, participatory engagement.<\/li>\n<!--
